Dermot: I'm in Vancouver - have a couple of friends with F-30s, I have an M-20 (and a GF-60R and an old X-400). We get together sometimes to play a few swing tunes. Do you get out at all?

Yes, sorry that was unclear. F-20's from 1970-75. Thanks for the fast response Hans.

Hi Kathy,

Guilds tend to vary from one to the next, even within a given period but the variations are usually not dramatic.
From 1970-1975 the fingerboard width at the nut is the usual 1-11/16" and the scale length is 24-3/4". The scale lengt changes to 25-1/2" around 1976.

Hope this helps.

Hi Hans...

Thanks very much, that's the info that I needed. I'm looking for a short scale and 1 11/16" nut width. It's also good to know that the scale length changed in '76 to 25.5". That was real important for me to know. Sure appreciate your response.

Have a great day.

Kathy
