Yep! ......after six shots of anything stronger than cream soda....'cept
what I see usually has dark purple dots on the back.

All seriousness aside.....could it be that this ruby purple is a red guitar left out in the sun too long??

I think the variation of colors with this and other guitar photos can have to do with lighting conditions and type of film. I've noticed this is sometimes true with rosewood, which can look reddish in a photo when in reality it's beef gravy brown.

Yep! I'll bet you can get a really wild photo color-wise using Tunsten 3200 K film under flores. lighting!
