Cow hoof picks?

Anyone ever tried a hoof guitar pick before? What's your impression?

Anyone ever tried a hoof guitar pick before? What's your impression?

Some years ago I tried some picks that were cow horn, and found them to be very close to my Real Tortouise Shell picks. The problem was that the fibers of the horn had a tendancy to split or "feather" as I called it. Hoof and Horn material is very similar, but the hoof might last longer.

I wish I could give a better story!! :roll:

I'm rounding out an Allparts order & debated giving these a try. At 1.5mm they're a bit too thick for my tastes.
