I've been looking for one of these for a while and I found one! The seller wants $750 for it. This is the all mahogany dread with the flat (not arched) back. I foolishly passed on one (with repaired cracks, replaced tuner and bridge) for $400 last year.

Do you think $750 is too much for this model? It seems that they are getting harder to find and Guild prices aren't going down....

Gretch,

I'm really not sure about the value, other than to say that I own a '79 D-25M and would NOT take $750 for it!

price of an early '70s D-25

Hi everybody,

Well obviously most people wouldn't sell their D-25 for $ 750.00. However, the examples that are for sale at The Guild Guy are not good examples since the original thread/question was about an early '70s mahogany topped, flat back version of the D-25; not just any D-25.

Sincerely,

Well, I'm convinced! I pulled the trigger on the D25.... I've yet to hear a single owner who didn't love theirs or regret selling one.

I'll report when it arrives!
