I'm wondering if all the Bluesbirds with P90s were made in Corona. I have one in natural flame with a serial number of CM000501. The stock Duncan soapbar P90s on this guitar are wonderful. In fact, everything about it is wonderful! Any chance it was made in Westerly?

Mine is technically called a Blues 90 - same Bluesbird body, but the neck is beefier, unbound, and has pearl dots (not blocks) - and was made in Westerly. And it is wonderful.

Hello greenman,

If it's a Bluesbird with P-90s (block inlays) then it's always made in Corona.
In your case the guitar was made in 2002.

Sincerely,

Hans Moust
