Until recently I owned two of these, a spruce topped model and an all-mahogany model. I sold the spruce one 'cos I wasn't doing anything with it, and have the mahogany one for some future slide endeavours. Do any other members have any kind of F4's, and if so, opinions please ? I thought that for a "lower-end" model, the sprucie sounded and projected pretty darned well and, in retrospect, I should have kept it. The mahogany F4 is (as expected), less "forward", and I plan on dressing it up with fossilised walrus ivory bridge, nut and saddle. I did this with an F47RCE I had, and that guitar just sang ! Any F4 opinions, please.

Coastie,

At the risk of astonishing everybody at this forum, let me make the following two points:
1) I know nothing about this topic.
2) I have no infallible opinion about this topic.

What's astonishing here is that for once I will not offer an infallible opinion about something I know nothing about.

Excuse me while I note this momentous first in my diary.
