JOHNNY CASH CUSTOM MADE 1987 GUILD SUNBURST D-605BE GUITAR, WITH CASE
Designed by George Gruhn, 1987, serial no. D600093, featuring a dreadnought size body, spruce top with sunburst finish, herringbone soundhole trim, ebony fingerboard with large slotted diamond inlays, ebony bridge, Indian rosewood back and sides, mahogany neck and multiple body bindings. 2 items
CATALOGUE NOTE
Given to Johnny Cash for promotion and artist endorsement for Guild and designed by Geoge Gruhn, this guitar used by Johnny quite a bit on stage in the late 1980s-early 1990s. It was also featured on the cover of Johnny's 1990 release, Boom Chicka Boom and the guitar was played in the 1990 video filming at the Nassau Coliseum live concert performance with the Highwaymen and at the 1990 Grammy Awards.
