As far as I know, Duane Eddys were the only 17-inch wide Guilds in the 1960s that were thinline--about 2 inches deep. Were Duaners sold with a thinline case? Or were they sold in the medium depth cases used for the X175, X150, A150, etc?

Hello Darryl,

Duane Eddys had their own cases. I will try and post a photo later today.

If you can't find a case to fit (or at a reasonable price), Kris Katt in Canada will build you a high quality custom case for $120 (he built many cases for the similar DeArmond T-400, and would size the case to accomodate the slightly deeper body). You get to choose both the covering (a tough Tolex-like material) and the lining colors.
