I was soundly educated - no "liberal" curricula.
I learned about respect, morality and decency.
I've taken the time to "learn" a lot about living, though there are still many mysteries.
I was THERE when it all happened in the '60's, and that's reason enough on its own.
I know the Blues (music, that is).
I rode motorbikes when they were still cheap.
I'm healthy, apart from the legacy of the above.
I was never tempted by drugs, other than marijuana.
I've learned to be calmer and less reactive.
Trivial issues don't matter anymore.
I can sit for hours quietly reflecting on whatever.
I know "In My Life" by John Lennon.
I'm growing old with a wonderful woman.
I have two fabulous little grand-daughters.
I live in the loveliest part of my country - made a life-changing decision to come here.
I've discovered there's a worldful of geezers out there who've experienced pretty much the same things as me, and are happy with themselves.

Time for a caffeine fix, during which time I'll probably muse upon scores of other reasons.

I won't take the bait.

Geezerhood has given me the pleasure of being at one time on a first name basis with Paul W. Klipsch, Amar Bose and Gene Czerwinski (Klipsch & Associates, Bose and Cerwin Vega).

I have performed engineering work for the audio industry, for manned spaceflight, and the automotive industry.

It' Great to be the King!!!
