Howdy All!

I'm new to this forum and have posted a for sale ad in the FS/FT section of this website.

I just wanted to introduce myself and say Hello. I usually hang out at the Gretsch Discussion Page and have visited this fine site before.

I own a 1960 Guild CE100D. It is a fine, fine guitar! but it looks like I am going to have to sell it.

Since I am new to this discussion page I wanted to offer my references of the GDP and the fact that I know one of your fine moderators Walter in case anyone is interested in my Guild.

Thanks,
Ernest a.k.a. RamblingDaddy

RD,

Welcome. You'll fit in here. I always ramble. I think the most important sites for finding out about Guild and how to consign them are these:

guildguy.com

guitarchives.nl/guitarsgalore/

the best book is
amazon.com/gp/product/0634009664/sr=8-1/qid=1153021719/ref=sr_1_1/102-7097119-1881739?ie=UTF8

also useful
amazon.com/gp/product/0933224788/sr=1-1/qid=1153021804/ref=sr_1_1/102-7097119-1881739?ie=UTF8&s=books

Look around. Read Coastie and West R Lee's posts. When they steal my meds, Coastie thinks he's Captain Bly, and West R. Lee thinks he's Tacoma.

I'm supposed to write something understandable? OK. Here y'are:

No one I think is in my tree,
I mean it must be high or low
That is you can't you know tune in but it's all right,
that is I think it's not too bad

I've been eating too many strawberrys.

Ramblin,

Stick around a couple hours & it'll become more obvious.

You have to watch out for stuff like this:

Cher Teaser

If you're not over 50, why did it take you almost 3 months to answer my question?

Well actually its been a little over a month and a half BUT none- the-less I apologize for being so tardy. Let's just say I was gone for awhile....

And Jeff - that Cher thing is kinda scaring me...if she keeps popping up I might disappear for another month and a half.

Now that Cher is on about her fifth farewell tour, I'm reminded of a song by a Guild player named Dan Hicks: "How Can I Miss You If You Won't Go Away?"
