And in the teeny tiny CD booklet is (l believe) a pic of Cale playing a mid-80 Guild solid body, white with black pickups.

So does that mean you already have a copy of the CD?

I would love to hear an opinion from anyone who has heard the CD!!

Friend of mine brought it over here the weekend before last. He turned me on to JJ Cale about 15 years ago, and we've played a lot of JJ stuff together since.

From this CD with Clapton, I heard what my buddy thought were the best three cuts. This was at the end of a night of playing. They were great, and no surprise as there has always been a strong affinity between Clapton and Cale.

This album fits a recent Clapton pattern of revisiting aspects of his career. The Cream live reuninion concert DVD from a couple years ago is amazing.
