I had a wanted ad in the loca Kijiji for a hollowbody vintage Guild, Starfire 4 or X170 and a guy just down the road replies to say he has a 1969 M65 for sale. I'm not familiar with this line but I go to see it anyway. Turns out as most of you probably know, to be a dinky 3/4 scale cherry archtop with f holes and one single coil pickup, serial number in the 400's. It's in reasonably good condition for a 37 year old and he wants $1200 Canadian for it. I wasn't interested in buying it anyway, think I'll hang on for a full size archtop, but this seems like way too much money for this, or am I not in touch with prices? Just wondered what you knowledgeable guys thought?
