I ordered a couple of truss rod covers from Bill Nichols. He sent me an email the other day asking if I liked the design he was doing based on what I had sent him. Basically just G&C (Graham & Cid) for one of them.

Anyway I looked at it, looked at my guitar and cut and pasted something and sent it back to him because as I said to him, I wanted the lettering to be upright when the guitar was being played. So that wifey (Cid) could read it.

I'm just glancing at the headstock on my DV that I just got back from the luthier babe and this is what I see..

He tells me it's upside down. And he's right. I'm glad he was paying attention.

By the way this photo was taken from eBay, another guitar with an upside down TRC.

Looks like that luthier babe has fixed too many Gibsons, with their bell shaped TRC's.
Knowing which way the TRC goes on Guilds separates the mens from the babes.
