CD's on sale today at the local pawn shop, 3 for $10.00, ...Well, it's right on the way home from my lesson, they might have had a G60 R just off pawn. I couldn't take a chance, had to stop in. No Guilds , just a low end Taylor for a grand.

I got this CD and a Bonnie Raitt.

There are a bunch of 3 & 4 chord songs in G & C on this disc & I am amazed I could figure out the progressions & play along.

Didn't get them all & some of what I got is far from perfect but listening to the song, recognizing the pattern & finding the key is a new experience for this old man.

This one I first heard on a Mississippi John Hurt album.

Very cool, Jeff. Thanks for posting it.
Have you seen the documentary style movie made by Grisman's daughter? It's a collection of home movies she made during the many years Garcia spent jamming on bluegrass tunes at the Grisman house, mixed with concert footage, interviews and other stuff. I own the VHS but haven't seen it since we moved four years ago. Geezerness keeps me from remembering the title at the moment, but it's probably on Amazon. I think you'd like it.
