Hello all... maybe this is a question only Hans can answer!

Between the all Laminate A-50 and the upper level Stratford etc, were there any mid-level solid top Guild acoustic archtops... Like a Gibson L7 or L50?

Thanks!

Bob

Hello Bob,

Yes there were. That would be the CA-100 and the A-150.
The CA-100 was the acoustic version of the CE-100. Just like the CE-100 it had a 'florentine' cutaway. I guess you could compare it to the Gibson L-4C.
The A-150 was the acoustic version of the X-150/175 and it had a 17-inch body and a 'venetian' cutaway.

Sincerely,

Hans Moust
