I wouldn't' swear for sure but I think the guitar is a CV 1C. It looks liked the bigger body contemporary.

Plays pretty good plugged in don't it. Pushing 2 grand new with the
D Tar.

A couple of things here.

Not only does the Guild sound great, but it looks like Fender is doing some serious promotion of the new Guilds as Taylor has done. This to me is a good thing to see.

This next guy, Willie Porter, who I've never heard of prior to checking out Walrus's post, has a playing style which reminds me of the guy that Hans posted a while back that did the "creative tapping". He also is making a new Guild sound great.

Thanks, West - I did not hang in there on youtube long enough to see Willie Porter. I'm glad you posted this - he has a great technique! Time to go practice some more...

Graham.

Willy Porter was featured in the '03 Guild catalogue with a Guild Valencia.

On the "Custom Shop Acoustic" page there are two Valencias; a stunning black one and a spruce/maple one in the hands of some chick named Jonatha Brooke.

Stunning looking guitars !
