Here's my first try at a self produced video, I'll apologize in advance for the crappy quality but I used a cheap camera...the sound really doesn't do the DV-52 any justice, but you get the idea 8)

Bravo Marc.

Nice pickin' and a very nice beater.

You don't have a Guild logo on that thing somewhere do ya?

You composed that huh? I still can't hit a Bm with any consistency. :(

Graham: only on the headstock, you should be able to see the Guild logo in the beginning, and the Chesterfield inlay is pretty much there throughout the video. I'm not sure how I managed to post my entire photo album too, but you're welcome to page thru that as well  (No wonder it took so long to load...)

Dred,

Thanks for the boost tonight.

I've been feeling lower than whale tracks about my pickin lately, really low, Having a heck of a time making progress. Or at least it seems that way.

Took me a while but I figured out the progression in the tune you posted. Pretty sure I did any way. Something I couldn't have done a year ago.

Blues licks I've been fooling with don't seem to fit all that well but if I don't try & show off I can pick along pretty OK.

Another observation: I'd probably have to pick the living crap out of my F20 or use a mike to keep up with your DV 52 & those finger picks. Sheesh.

To quote John Hartford, "You guys are obviously easily amused"

You realize, of course, that encouraging me is like saying "sic 'em!" to a dog...

:D If you told either of my dogs to sic 'em, they'd immediately lay down.

Jeff, how was Toby Keith?

Sold out !!!

Just a word to the wise should you ever attend a Toby Keith concert, Toby's fans are rabid. 2 1/2 hours & everyone in the house was on their feet the entire show. Well there was the one couple over in the box seats. Even they were yelling Toby, Toby !!

I did just fine, there was just dozens & dozens of Cowgirls in tight Levis & Cowboy hats. My humble opinion Levi Strauss should get a Congressinal Medal of Honor for his Service to America.

Red on the other hand had sore muscles from dancin, clappin & waving her arms in the air. She screamed a bit too. Worth every dime for the tickets.
