Hi Jeff,

Country Joe & the Fish was one of my first favorite groups back then. They were excellent. Brings back a lot of good memories when I was young and naive and "fairly" innocent...a lot of his music still stands up today.

Thanks!

I loved CJ & the Fish when I was a teenager - a decade after the fact. Barry Melton had the sickest vibrato ever.

Would that Country Joe were around today

One, two, three, four,
we don't want .........

Damn it, you know, we thought we were going to save the world then. Turns out all we did was talk about it.

John,

My thoughts as I watched & listened Country Joe's Rag would have harmonized with yours.

Dylan's songs do little to soothe the melancholy.

Local paper this morning announces 1300 local boys are coming home
& will be reunited with their families in about 3 weeks. Little girl across the street is almost walking & doesn't know her daddy.

Imagine if we could have invested all of that money in Guilds instead, and given one to everbody in the world? Kind of reminds me of a Beatles song. Wonderful thought.

I'll bet the factory would still be in Westerly! :D
