Bluesbird Choices

So, I have an opportunity to pick from two Bluesbirds to purchase, and they both have pluses and minuses. Not sure that I'll pull the trigger on either, but here's the deal...

#1
-Black with creme binding
-Double humbucker
-neck is very thick
-3 way switch cracks through top (repairable)
-built in fender custom shop

#2
-Gold top, dark red back/side paint
-Double humbucker
-neck is thinner/normal
-built in fender production line

Thoughts?

It's hard to go wrong with a Bluesbird.

But it sure is hard to choose!

I knew I'd catch hell from at least one P-90 enthusiast!

But I agree. Tobacco burst is the stuff.

Hi Pat; P90s are generally thought of as brighter, edgier, somewhat more cutting than humbuckers. More here: http://www.blueshawk.info/p90_pickups.htm a/k/a 'single coil', they are also prone to feedback.
