Lonnie Johnson pre-dated the likes of Robert Johnson, B.B. King and T Bone Walker. He's one of the influential guys that they would have listened to on record.

Died, tragically in Toronto in 1970, after being hit by a car the previous year.

Great guitarist, lovely voice.

Don't quote me, but I'm pretty sure it was Lonnie Johnson who inspired a young B.B. King to take up electric.

No it wasn't; just had to go and check.

It was T Bone.
