The Guild Thunderstar amp arrived mid week. Excellent packing job! Fully covered with 1 inch styrofoam.

I installed a pair of large bottle EH 7591A finals and cleaned the other tube leads to clean up some noise.

Presto! Fully operational and excellent tone. I gave it a serious work out a few hours ago. (Off from work today.)

A fully point-to-point wiring amplifier for less than $3000! Wow! What a deal.

Oh! I screwed up I meant "A fully point-to-point amplifier for less than $300! Wow!"

Thats a deal you WON'T find on Musicians Friend.

Hey. I was looking at Musicians Friend yesterday and was amazed at how many big name amps run over $3000. I was being a bit sarcastic as we often comment about paying more than a few hundred dollars for a Guild amp as a rip-off.
