thanks, great collection, darryl,

I prefer the eric johnson stuff. :D

Oh yes, Coco Montoya. Mayall's axe-man for a while. A lefty like Otis and Albert - "upside-down" strings.

Ronnie Earl. Nice. Try "Ronnie Earl & Friends" Telarc CD83537.

First time I've heard Eric Johnson, although I've heard of him.

Malmsteen. Not me. Too much going on. Couldn't possibly work for a "less is more" man.

Thanks Darryl.

Nice !!!

In aggrement with Coastie on Malmsteen.

I listen to Robert Cray pretty regular, a little Sanforized" maybe for Delta fans.

I like the clean, pure melodies in his leads. Ain't fast & crazy, always in the sweet spots.

Here's Rory with some bloke named Jack Bruce..............
The Jack; player, singer, song-writer, and producer. In his autobiography, EC said The Jack had the finest sense of time of anyone he'd ever played with....but found Ginger Baker 'dificult'; those two went at it all the time, EC was the referee.
