Is somebody recognize this guitar?

Hello,

There is a long time I try to know the brand of this guitar played by Dan peek (America) during the recording of the "Harbor" LP (1977).

There is inlays from the moon and stars on the fingerboard and around the sound hole.

The bridge have a curious shape.

I'm sure it's not a Klein or Breedlove guitar. She looks like to an Hawaiian guitar.

Well, if it's not a Klein, it's at least influenced by the same research that spawned the Gibson Mark series and the Klein acoustics, judging by the shape of the body and the bridge.

Yes probably to reinforce the back due to the body size. She seems to be more large than a Jumbo (17'') but not very deep.

Yes Graham she looks like a Klein guitar. Maybe it was a special order. I've never seen again this model.

Last year I've trying two times to send e.mail to Klein luthier without answer.

Maybe the production is stopped.

I come to receive an e.mail from Klein Luthier about this guitar. Indeed it was a Custom Klein guitar made for Dan peek member of America's group.
