What were the first songs and riffs you played on guitar (beyond just chording along)? For me:
"Reuben James" (Wildwood Flower) Kingstons
"Try and Catch the Wind" Donovan
"Tomorrow Is a Long Time" Dylan
"The Last Thing on My Mind" Paxton
"Walk Don't Run" Ventures
"Peter Gunn" Duane
"Smoke on the Water" Deep Poo Poo
"Peggy Sue"
"Secret Agent Man" Johnny Rivers
"Satisfaction" The Stones (Fred and Barney)
"The Weight" The Band
"And I Love Her" Beatles
"Mr Tambourine Man" The Byrds
"I've Just Seen a Face" Beatles
"Proud Mary" Fogarty
"Lay Lady Lay" Bob Drillin'
"Walk Right In" Rooftop Singers

Scratch pad,

I forgot "House of the Rising Sun" and "Don't Think Twice." "Long Black Veil" was one of my first banjo songs and is still one of my favorites. "500 Miles" was the first and last song I publicly performed. Actually deformed.

Speaking of deformed, I wonder if Coastie has ever publicly performed.
