Yup.

Wasn't Tommy's guitar a special non-production at the time? A D-50 TV Model... or something. Seeing Tommy on TV in the 60s, one of my earliest experiences with Guitar Envy. :wink:

Even though I own and daily play a D55 'burst, I continue to experience guitar envy whenever I see Tommy Smother's guitar. :mrgreen:

I've openly confessed one of my sins. :lol:

a truely beautiful instrument....I've always loved Guild dreadnaughts, I think the one that really first caught my eye was the one Richie Havens was playing in the 60s (D45?). I still drool when I get out that wonderful first album and see that guitar perched upon his lap.
