Wow! I'm going to have to come back to that one when I have some more time.

It's an unusually large collection of amps, and a strange one too - not really "the desirable models" by all those brands, but there are some really nice amps in there.

They don't update the pages when they sell them on Ebay, so check to make sure any one you like is still in the store....

I wish I hadn't seen this -- my resistance is weak. Wonder if this is another sign of the Credit Crunch?

No, more signs of land pressures in California. The real estate Indigo Studio was on, turned out to be more valuable that the studio. Indigo Studio was started by Mike Pinder of the Moody Blues and another guy and throughout the years, they picked up a staggering amount of amps. This outfit up in Connecticut bought all the amps and had Allied Vanlines (inventory sticker on amp) ship them back East.

Note the "suggested" prices:

  • Lot 6: Guild
    Suggested Package Price: $4,500

    Guild Thunder I Model T-1-12 #1851
    Guild Thunderbass Amplifier #7184
    Guild Thunderstar 1 T-1-12
    Guild Thunderstar 1 Reverb T1-RVT #4761
    Guild Thunderstar #1218

That'll be an average of $900 per amp - none of these has ever sold for $900, so far as I know.

Where did you find those suggested prices John? I was looking but couldn't find a link.
Those seem very high indeed.

Thanks! Actually....that Rickenbacker "lot" doesn't look too bad pricewise - if I had it, and I had a way to know it worked an was original, I'd almost spend that one the late 50's, early 60's amp head in there. ($1500)
