Coastie,

I had no idea that was done on a steel. And the stage production those guys always put on was astonishing.

Thanks for posting this.

And that was way back in '88 !!

Saw their show that year in Auckland...... the stage show was just outa-sight !

Go find "Pink Floyd in Concert...Delicate Sound of Thunder".

And, while you're about it, treat yourself to "David Gilmour..Remember That Night", and get stonking versions of Arnold Layne, Echoes and Take a Breath.

And, why not get "David Gilmour in Concert"....... substantially acoustic with fabulous cello accompaniment.

Pretty sharp for a Pom, that bloke !

He said..... "Well, you have fish-net stonkings, stonkings and suspenders, seamed stonkings and of course, laddered stonkings !"

I told him.... "Go play with your airline !"

Does he always talk like that, or does he have a cold?

I think it's something he got from Mike Coldfield, when they did that Tubercular Bells thing all those years ago.

Ah ! ......... found a Wakipedia definition for stonking !

Try ball-tearing !
