I will let the pics speak for themselves, but I just got done building this for a friend of mine. Everything is so close to a late 50 broadcaster that we even had a few custom made parts, like the single slot truss rod nut.

My favorite solidbody is the Tele (er, Broadcaster/Nocaster/Esquire)
Great job, Scott. And proper spacing of the 12th fret markers!

So lets hear the details...

the details huh?

let me know what you guys would like cause I am sure I will overlook something.

the neck is big and fat, nearly 1 inch the whole way. slight V in the first 6 or so frets, shaped by hand. the radius of the fretboard is 9.5.

the body is two piece light ash, the whole guitar weighs in around 6 pounds. the jack cup, slotted screws, and all other hardware is historically accurate.

the pickups are voodoos, a bd caster in the bridge and a te50 in the neck. great sound using the blend control, oh yeah and it even uses an oil in paper cap.

Beautiful! Very nice work.

I see you restore old guitars. I have a finish question, but I'll post it under 'tech shop'
