Hi guys. Just wondering if anyone knows how many ohms a replacement speaker for my 1482 should be... I'm guessing 4ohms, eh?

stupid question; what's "OT" ? output transformer?

Old testament - Hans's book. What does that have to do with speakers? Oh, never mind.

Outputtrafalo?

A most excellent new word, Steve. We shall petition Webster's.

Actually, it's based on the tale of "Outputrah the Phoenician". Outputrah was the first amp tech, from which all others sprang. Born from the union of the goddess of thunder and a coppersmith, he invented the first amps. Guitars were not in existence, therefore amplified lyres were used. Unfortunately, Otputrah built them into stools, which led to overheating, hence the phrase "Lyre, lyre, pants on fire."
Overcome with hubris, he attempted to use a multimeter in each hand and was strangled by the leads.

They say, if you listen just before dawn, you can hear his voice on the breeze saying...What the *@!*&%#@!?$%#! That's not what the #&%@# schematic says!
