He's a bass player after my own gear tastes. Notice the Ampeg Portaflex too! The ultimate setup. Here's a rundown of his gear. Also plays a Hofner Club, but the article either has a typo or a mistake about it being a '62. They weren't made until '64-'65.

Yup, he's an interesting bassist. I've been a big Wilco fan for some years now. Saw them in '05... but he only played fenders at that show :?
I recommend checking them out if y'all haven't. Good rock group.

Didn't their bass player use a Dark Star equipped P-Bass? A Starfire would be the next logical step!

Sure does. It's actually a Lakland Bob Glaub... so it's like a p-bass with a j-neck
