Sunday the band rocked out in a catholic gym.... yeah, anyways. While I get a great sound out of my SFIV and V2 I sometimes wish for a little break up out of the amp. I have heard of these http://www.fliptops.net/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=25_66&products_id=533 master volume devices. Has anyone used these? My amp was modded over to el34's when the 7027's were awol and I don't want to screw up a great sounding amp. Thanks as usual for all of the great info from LTG.

A quick look at the schemo shows that the jack for the extension amp out provides a signal to another amp. There's no path to ground. Adding a potentiometer would act as a master volume, because then you would be able to reduce the signal to the power amp. You could sacrifice one of those jacks and add a master volume pretty cheaply.
Plugging that box in would act as a master volume and it would be non-invasive.

Cool! Keep us posted, one of my buddies at work had one, back when dinosaurs ruled the Earth.
