A story for you, Jerry:
Years ago I had a 1959 MGA. While traveling with a buddy, we noticed a slight smell of something smoldering under the dashboard. I immediately turned around and headed for home. By the time we got there she was pouring smoke pretty good.
To appreciate this you have to picture my buddy standing up during the trip back, clenching his fist at the sky and screaming “CURSE YOU RED BARON!”
