Woo-Hoo, I think. There were 2 Dearmond Starfire Basses on Ebay this week I "won" the black one w/case for $516. The Tobaccoburst one went for $688, with a gig bag.

I've never bought a guitar off e-bay, and kinda swore I never would, but where else are you going to find such a beast? I can't wait to get my hands on it. Now I need to get out to the shop & finish my thunderbass project...

Thanks, your youtube vid's helped me talk myself into it. Now I've gotta start saving my pennies for a set of darkstars...

Was kinda watching the sunburst one myself. Would have made a nice trio with my black and red ones.
Nice catch. Great bass. Great price. And don`t worry about rushing into the Dark Stars, they sound just fine the way they are. Congrats.
