I keep forgetting to check the Goodwill auction site, I registered a long time ago. They often have interesting instruments and tend to go for less than on the Bay.

I used to have one of those, bought new in a 1978.
My first "good" guitar.
Great guitars.
Finally sold it about 5 years ago.

That's a steal for two hundred bucks isnt it. I find it quite incredible how little money nice old ovations go for, when a Martin or a Gibson from the same year would cost a fortune. The other thing to bear in mind is that Ovations were really the big noise back in the mid 70's at a stage when allegedly both Martin and Gibson were off the pace....

What year is it ?

Cheers, Ian

Only problem is they're like some of my girlfirends...can't keep 'em on my lap....

If it's the same thing that pushes both the ovations and the girlfriends off your lap then you have a problem.....
