Year & specific model: 1988 Sunburst finish
How long have you owned the JF30-12: since January 2008
Purchased new or used: Used (eBay)
Price paid: $1150.00 US

Owners rate 1 (least appreciated) to 10 (most appreciated) in following categories with comments as desired:

Build quality: 10

Mids: 9
Highs: 10
Sustain: 10
Playability/comfort: 9
Dependability: 10
Fingerstyle: 8

Condition (Mint/Excellent/Good/Fair/Poor): EC-. Minor dings (previous owner); otherwise perfect
Favorite Strings (one selection only): DR Rare PB Lights

Would you buy another if lost/sold: I did. This is my second JF30-12. 1st sold to LTGer Graham in 2008, now resides with LTGer Bobby McGee.

Overall Assessment: Love this guitar; perhaps more than any other owned. Loudest & brightest of three 12ers.

Most Appreciated Characteristic: Overall playability & sustain. It belongs in my lap.

Least Appreciated: I only have one

Favorite JF30-12 Story/Moment: Folliwing a Ninfa's Gig a guy stated he thought I was playing with a synthesizer backup. When he examined 'Zeke', he said something like: "This explains it." Then asked if I'd like to sell it...

Other observations/comments: A 412 without the bling.

Technical data for Grover Mini Rotomatics tuner(s) replacement:

Hole size: .391 = 25/64
Part number: 0909 or 205c
One set of six (3L & 3R). If ordering complete replacement (all 12 machine heads), order two sets...

Re: JF30-12 LTG Owner Review

Interesting survey, but too many questions (!), which may be why no one has responded yet. I love my JF-30, and started to fill this out, but looking down the list, I felt the way I feel when I look at my tax form!
