Highs: 10
Sustain: 10
Playability/comfort: 9.5
Dependability: 10
Fingerstyle: 8.5

Condition (Mint/Excellent/Good/Fair/Poor): Excellent

Favorite Strings (one selection only): D'Addario PB Light

Would you buy another if lost/sold: Probably would unless I found an F312 first

Overall Assessment: Beautiful, clear and distinct tones. Never gig out with it. Least played of my three 12ers.

Most Appreciated Characteristic: Bought from Hans
Least Appreciated: NA
Favorite G312 Story/Moment: The day I bought it. We met many LTGers at the show and established great friendships.

Other observations/comments: At the time I also had an F512. I eventually sold the F512 and kept 'Hanzz' as my sole rosewood 12er.

Re: G312 LTG Owner Review

How long have you owned the G312: about 3 months
Year & specific model: 1978 G312NT
Purchased new or used: purchased used from fellow LTGer charliea Fall 2010 (LTG F/S thread)
Price paid: $875 including Guild HSC and shipping

Owners rate 1 (least appreciated) to 10 (most appreciated) in following categories with comments as desired:

Build quality:10
Looks: 9.5 (ok, a burst would be nice)
Projection: 9
Bass: 9.5
Mids: 9
Highs: 9
Sustain: 10
Playability/comfort: 9.5
Dependability: 10
Fingerstyle: 9
Flatpick: 9
Strum: 9

Condition (Mint/Excellent/Good/Fair/Poor): Excellent

Favorite Strings (one selection only): Martin PBs 80/20

Would you buy another if lost/sold: too soon to tell but probably.

Overall Assessment: sweet, very meaty tone from a small-bodied guitar.

Most Appreciated Characteristic: very different tone from mahogany and maple.

Least Appreciated: no big deal but I'm more of a Jumbo person.

Favorite G312 Story/Moment: hasn't happened yet.

Other observations/comments: am dragging my feet about either / both an acoustic amp and/or more sensitive p/u. I get 'loud' from what I have but twin 6V6s don't do justice to rosewood's juicy tone.
