White Special, here I come! According to Gibson, only 50 white models are shipping to GCs nationwide. While I am in love and am buying (how can you resist @ $799?), I would marry her if she had neck binding.

But, still...

It is pretty sweet. Add some reflector knobs, knob pointers and a nice new custom cut nitro guard and it's even sweeter.

I tried to capture how deep and 3d it really looks, but it's kinda hard with the sun vanished...

Nothing like a little personal touch to make it
your own.

BTW - Was the Guild S-100 or DeArmond S-73 ever offered in white?

Funny that I'm just seeing this now, Hammer, because a friend alerted me to an SG Special at a local Music-Go-Round that I was going to alert you to ... only to find out you already have one. Nice score. The one at Music-go-round (in Roseville, Minn.) isn't white, but it does come with a case.

Nice personal touches; looks real sharp.
Where can I buy knob pointers ?
Try this place:
http://www.starletsandharlets.com/burle ... p/3311.htm
Now, to your everyday punter, that address would be unknown !
So, done some shopping there ??
Yeah...did you notice the "imperfect match" section ? It's where I found Lambikins' trousseau.
And their fauax leather whips are to die for. :D
But I undress. Er, digress.

Check out this from the Summer Of Love. I like the SG guitar. Perhaps I would own one if I had the $.

In the clip, the vocals are low so the guitar comes out well. Also notice the band is using Gibson's all around (4 of them) and Rogers drums. This features the late John Cippolina, especially his cool solo at 2:48:

I can state, with hand on heart, that I didn't "look around".

Do they have feather dusters ? I can think of one or two faux's that I could use a leather whip on.

Havn't seen dusters, but have seen Quetzalcoatl brand feather boas, and mink mittens modeled on the one Sean Connery used in "Thunderball".. :D

Indeed !

And I'd love to reciprocate. I have the INSIDER'S Ferkin Husky Fan Club address if you'd care to have it.

A handy hint from the Z-man. " Don't eat the yellow snow; that's where the ferkin' Huskies go."

Not to be confused with this Z-man who said: "Careful what you put in your mouth, it might be loaded".
And after seeing that film, you might die laughing.
