Bob Marley

May 11 is the anniversary of Bob's death in 1981. It's hard to believe that he's been gone for 31 years!

I was fortunate to spend a couple weeks in Jamaica in '79 when Reggae music was really taking off. Got to jam with some locals, drink warm Red Stripe beer at night and fresh Jamaican coffee in the morning all the while being shown the interior of the country away from the tourists by a very cool local guy in our rental car. Looking back I guess we were quite lucky to leave there alive as there had been a near civil war there recently but I was 19 and could've cared less about all of that :wink: !
