This one might be tough to come by, but it's solid! It's for those times when you just don't have room to take your regular stand on a camping trip.

F112-6 with custom Ponderosa stand

You start off with a 100'+ Ponderosa pine and you whittle it down to size....

I'm sure there's some members here who are FREAKING over that pic.... scared to death the guitar is gonna take a tumble. I do love the photo.... great guitar and a really unique and beautiful stand. What concerns me about the stand is portability.......

Joe,

Did you photoshop this one? The guitar is perched just a little beyond the laws of gravity at the lower bout side. :)

Just for the record and at the risk of being redundant, I don't own Photoshop.
This was just a really solid "stand" that was next to our favorite campsite.

Having fun with guitars. 8)

Joe

It's that big counterbalancing headstock that makes this trick work. 8)

Joe did you make the 12 to 6 conversion yourself or was it done by a pro? Looks fantastic!

I did it myself, I think because no one else wanted to touch it.
It was a fun project and I have all the steps documented in a photo file (big surprise, I'm sure).

Thanks,
Joe

You actually tried to take pictures? I hope they're in focus.

You may have posted them before but I'd like to see the photo file. 8)
