Condition (Mint/Excellent/Good/Fair/Poor): new

Favorite Strings (one selection only): D'addario EXP 38 (as supplied)

Would you buy another if lost/sold: Yes - maybe the CE version (see below)

Overall Assessment: Serious guitar - beautifully made, very playable and a terrific, rootsy tone

Most Appreciated Characteristic: That beautiful warm, chiming tone
Least Appreciated: Inconsistent saddle - I think (see below)
Favorite F-212XL Story/Moment: Opening the shipping box. Otherwise, hopefully still to come!

Other observations/comments: My only issue has been with installing a UST. The (beautiful looking) bone saddle seems to have a dead spot for the high E strings. I'm having it copied - hopefully it's just a little inconsistent. Sounds magnificent unplugged, which in fairness is how the guitar was sold. Maybe I should have bought the CE model from the off. Overall I'm extremely happy with this guitar.
