Don't know if anyone noticed that I was gone but I just returned from the islands....the San Juan Islands, that is.

Approaching Waldron Island

Thursday was a bear, weather-wise, but the rest of the time was ideal!

It's always good to get home, though....where the Guilds are!

Wish you could have been with me when I rowed to the beach!
Could have ended up in Canada, it was blowing so hard, but someone had to do it.

It was a wet, wild, and strenuous row, but all part of a fun day.

Cool stuff Joe. That looks like a pretty heavy boat to row. Did Cindy help? Could be a song in there.
Cindy didn't go on this trip and I rowed a skiff to the beach. Surf was too heavy for the big boat. We had to wait six hours for calmer water.

Song? Were you thinking something like...

Joe, he rowed the boat ashore, to Waldron Island.....
