Emerald City Guitars; Downtown Seattle, just off Pioneer Square Tourist District: Jay Boone, the Soul Proprietor, was instrumental in helping me identify my F20 & encouraged me to have it repaired.

Guitar maniacs in Tacoma is worth a stop should a person have need to travel the 30 miles South from Seattle. http://www.facebook.com/pages/Guitar-Ma ... 5151257401
Can't say they would do it again but they gave me a smokin deal on my DV62 :) Trip to Guitar Maniacs involves driving past Harold Lemay's newly opened American Auto Museum

Above stores generally have an impressive selection of vintage guitars & amps. Guitarville is approx 20 minutes N of Seattle proper.

American Music in the Fremont District, in the past anyway, stocked the best local inventory of new Guilds.

Thanks, Brad!

My guy is a classical player, so that's welcome information. Again, I appreciate everybody's input. All you guys are making me look good with my buddy!! He's a Guild owner, too. F212XL, as it happens.
