The Big Fitz remembered

I'm a few days late however here it is. The 37th anniversary (Nov. 10th 1975) of the sinking of the the iron ore carrier Edmund Fitzgerald.
Here's a great video featuring Gordon Lightfoot's fantastic tribute song. May the 29 souls who lost their lives rest in peace.

Thanks for the reminder. It was so tragic. Gordon Lightfoot's haunting song is like a eulogy for the men and the ship.

Every November is always a chilling reminder of this Lake Superior tragedy. My step-dad, who was a career merchant marine, lost several good freinds that fateful day. Lightfoot's wonderful song sends chills down my spine every time I hear it.
