I give thanks for having known Mark and the Cap'n. Happy Thanksgiving to you all.

Darryl

Never personally met John Darryl, but I sure miss him here on the board. But I was blessed to know, play with and share some time with Mark, and I still can't believe he's gone. In fact sometimes my wife and I get misty eyed at the mention of his name.

And the same to you, Darryl, and everyone else on LTG.

Thank you for a fine thread Darryl.

Here's to Mark (Guildmark), John (Capnjuan) and David (California). Very thankful here for the pleasant memories that live on in the heart...

And thanks to Don for LTG...

Didn't come to LTG that long ago and never had the pleasure to meet Mark or David, although I see their posts come up in older threads occasionally. We're getting close to the first anniversary of losing John. I remember us butting heads and then finding our footing as friends, and then as soon as that happened..... he was gone. Miss his intelligence and sharpness and as Darryl says, grateful for the time we had.

It's good to remember those we've lost when we're assessing the blessings we currently enjoy. I am truly blessed and LTG is a big part of that. :D

Allow me to echo Tom's sentiments or, as might be expected, I'll second his emotions!

Thanks to all,
Joe

Three fine men. Missed but not forgotten!! 8)

Sad to say I never got to meet any of them in person though there were some common threads, PMs and emails.

If I'm not mistaken, I believe two of them are in your avatar, right?

My sentiments exactly. Nicely put, Tom.

Happy thanksgiving, all.

Mark, on my right...David, on my left.

John I only met via email.

Of those mentioned, I only had interaction with John (Cap'n). I appreciated the time he took to share his knowledge here.

Hey there, gang

I know it's been quite a while since I touched base with my old LTG friends.

I can't even describe how deeply saddened I was about learning of Mark and Capn Juan's passing. I definitely am grateful for having had the chance to establish friendships with these two fine gents through the LTG.

Thanks for the thread, Darryl.

Update for Thanksgiving 2013

Jammed with Mark and the Cap'n (John), and later toured the Arlington Guitar Show that same year with Mark, David and Graham.
Also met Hans, Don, Jeff, Jay Pilzer, West (Jim), and Kenny.
