D40 restoration question

Hi Guild lovers. I'm hoping someone out there can give me some advice. I recently picked up an early 70's Guild D40. I haven't received it yet but hope to in a few days. The seller disclosed that the Guild logo has either faded off or was scraped off the headstock. It has other cracks and cosmetic issues that I will need to address.

Does anyone know if it is possible (and legal) to purchase a new headstock logo as part of my restoration project?
