Today I was at a pawn shop and saw a Guild D-100. It needs some work.
I would like to know more about it but in my effort to decode its serial number I hit a wall.
Now I am wondering if it is not a US model.
It needs the bridge removed and glued back in place. The top has a pronounced bulge behind the bridge so it could need a new bridge plate. The truss rod would need to be checked out because the neck relief is over an 1/8 inch.
So it is sad but fixable.
What year is it? Is it a fake? Should I take on another fixer upper?
Thank you,
