Well chazmo, you were really close! Big Mac(hadn't eaten one in about 20years) large fries and a vanilla shake. Most out of control meal I've eaten in years and it tasted fantabulous!
I eat a couple of veggies(raw & cooked) with dinner every day, including 4-5 veggie salads 4 or more times a week, fish - seafood - chicken; red meat one a week. Yogurt with 3 fruits and granola for breakfast most mornings. I cook almost all of our meals all month long except I won't make Chile or stur-fry, those are my wife's specialty. Ever since my wife's first operations, 12 years ago, I cook 26 -28 days of the month and I must say we do eat pretty well. My dear wife, Jane, has been cut from head to toe throughout her life starting with open heart surgery when she was 7 years old, in 1958 and she's still ticking today at 72: carpal tunnel both hands, left rotator cuff and shoulder blade tendon, both knees replaced wear surfaces, double mastectomy, left heal fusion with screws all in the past 15 years.
How Could I Not Cook for Her? Now the forgetting is starting for her, possibly caused by her low grade cancer meds and Estrogen therapy.
Playing and collecting guitars is my current distraction and most long lived hobby.
Oh! As an aside. My father died from colon cancer at 78 (1990) and my grandfather(dad's father) died from it at 70 (1951).
