Yours makes me wish the back of mine had a little more flame to it. It's kinda plain. Thanks, SJS,
I love my recent purchase, a D-30 that has a beautiful arched maple back. It sounds great and is surprisingly comfortable to play. It's my first Guild, and I'm impressed. I don't think it's the one that belonged to West, but if it is, I'll take good care of it. I'm glad you have other guitars, West! This one, I'm keeping.
You already know my answer. Ain't nothin' better than Westerly built Guild maple archback.Just posted her on another thread. Then decided she should have her own. Plus, she's getting new strings. Goldie...1978 G37. Best acoustic ever. Any other maple archback lovers out there?
Works for me. After Wilmywood gave me the G37, it's allowed me to set my sights on one of my all time favorite guitars, a 12 string. A Guild, of course. My last one was a top of the line lawsuit Takamine. All wood... it went away. Now, I'm going for a 12er. Have a buddy with 3 of them. Might have to get in and wrestle with the pig. Problem with that is ya get real dirty and the pig likes it.How about an archback maple with 12 strings, twice the fun!
