Well, at least it's still locked. Safety first!

Why did they make the squirrel that must have chewed the hole in the wall gnaw a bit wider for the flexible extension cord to have an easier path power outlet? Is it so tight that the extra 1/2" was necessary?

12A&7 is a "9A"

5AR4 is a "5DA" by pinout, but I can't find an online example.

To be, well… me…, I think those are 9-25 pin serial to a gender bender then a 25-9 pin.
