Korina in da house

When StewMac first advertised these I held off, despite the introductory pricing. But I never forgot. So when the text came that the were putting them on sale I finally bit and snagged a 2 piece korina blank. (I'm guessing that they sold out of the 1 piece blanks during the initial offering. All they had were 2-, 3-, and 4- piece blanks.)
All set for some future build.

Is korina generally heavy?

It's supposed to be lighter than mahogany. But not by a huge amount. It's brighter, tone wise.
